Festifools

We have been busy busy busy making puppets for Festifools. I don't have any images to share with you of our work, you will have to check in the common room to see what we have made so far. You should be able to see: a dragon head, a bald medusa head, a salmon head, a skeletal devil head, and a cyclops head. The kids have been working very hard on them, and April 11 is sure to be a very fun time. We will be meeting at 3:00 with the rest of the parade, and it officially starts at 4:00.

  1. I love the way the children have taken ideas from other studies - the skeletal devil is a character from the epistolary novel that the students in Renata's class wrote, and the salmon is the protagonist of this year's collaborative book, 'Salmon of the Sun'. The mythical characters come from work the children have done with Imogen. Ruth, you are so good at opening up ways for the children to explore what is interesting to them. Thank you for doing this.
